Aune Head Arts (AHA) is a contemporary arts organisation based on Dartmoor: read more about what we do. [Menus not displaying properly? get flash!]

We believe that everyone is capable of creative expression; that artists can work with a broad spectrum of individuals without compromising artistically or aesthetically; that contemporary artforms can be stimulating, challenging, and engaging for all. Read more about what we say about the arts.

MA

We lead the MA in Arts Management at the Dartington campus of University College Falmouth, giving this MA a unique AHA flavour. We can still accept applications, although the initial deadline for bursary applications has now passed, which means there is only a very limited amount of unallocated funds left for bursaries. If you'd like to ask us a question about the MA and how it fits with your own practice, just email Nancy. If you're thinking about applying, please note that we are away from August 15 to September 8, so if you'd like to ask us any questions now is the time to do it! Term begins on September 25th.

triparks is in full swing. There's a two-page spread in the current newsletter, and there's stuff up on the gallery now (with more to come soon). Six artists are working in three national parks across the UK and most are just about halfway through into the process. The Exmoor and Northumberland artists have blogs here and here and there's more info here. There's a new blogsite here. Hugh's podcast page now includes his improvisation in Huccaby Chapel during the triparks group meeting on Dartmoor (July 23/4).

A PREVIEW exhibition will be held on Exmoor in mid-November, so watch this space for further information.

We currently hold a Creative Enterprise Fellowship (Choreography) at Dartington College of Arts. If you are a creative practitioner within or around choreography and need help with the business end of your work (this can include fundraising, organisational development, general mentoring, touring advice, and so on) please contact James Toler, Enterprise Manager at Dartington Creative Enterprise.

AHA is now listed in The Ashden Directory which is a lively and interesting website centring on Arts & Environment. Although we don't maintain a Links page on this site (for reasons of practicability) we will from time to time mention sites of interest here. I recently came across www.artistsindevon.com which you may find of interest.

We'd like to say thank you to all our funders. They are acknowledged on the appropriate project pages, and here.

We have been funded for a three-year programme of work by Arts Council England, and we thank them for their continuing support of our work.
